A full week!

Wow, I can't believe it's been a week since I've posted anything...yeah for me, (not really, but I'm trying to make myself feel better)! Anyway, nothing really going on...I had my birthday Monday, it was good. Shane went and picked some dinner up at the store with Christian, they came home with dinner, cake and a potted plant for me. Christian picked out the plant, it's really pretty. I'll post a picture...

See? Aren't I lucky Mommy?

Hmmm...what else? Oh...so, our neighbors have been on vacation, so Christian hasn't had anyone to play with and has been trying to make friends with the little boy down the road who's 4. Ok...I don't like to talk about people's kids but seriously...this kid is the rudest little thing I have ever seen, or heard for that matter, in my life. The other day, he got mad at Christian and started throwing dirt/sand at him...or rather, IN HIS EYES! Shane pulled up after the second throw and he said the kids saw him and took off running! Little jerk boy!!! So, Shane brought him in, we cleaned him up and kept him inside for a while. A little while later, Christian decided he wanted to go outside and play again, so we let him. After a short while, Shane went back outside to hear the little boy talking trash to Christian saying stuff like, "You can't come over to my house" and "You can't drive my car." Just mean little things like that. So, we told Christian that he can't play with those kids anymore, mainly the little boy. What really made me mad was that the mean little boy and his little sidekick girl (she's the other "kid" that Christian can't play with) came over and asked, actually told me to get them a popsicle! Yeah right...don't think so! It wasn't "Can we have a popsicle?" it was, "we want a popsicle." Anyway, I obviously didn't give them one.

Then yesterday, we were leaving to go get gas in the neighbor's truck (I have to go pick them up at the train station today) and Christian was trying to say goodbye to those kids...they ignored him! Poor baby man...he continued saying bye to them until I finally told him that they weren't going to answer him and that he should just stop. I felt so bad for him, but nothing really I can do about it.

Ok, enough drama...now the good part, pictures!

I wanted to see if he could make it all day without a nap, but I did want him to spend some time just relaxing and taking it easy. He was playing his VSmile when I left and this was how he was when I came back about 10 minutes later. Guess we still need a nap huh?

This is her..."I'm so cute, you can't get mad at me for playing in the dog food" face.

The next Tom Cruise!

She was playing with the popsicle stick and this was the face she was making while laying back over the couch!

Blue Steel?

Her cute little smile!

Anyway, have a great day!

Happy Father's Day!

Just a quick little hello and a wish for a Happy Father's Day to my Dad and also to you Shane. Love you guys and hope you have a great day! You mean the world to us and we don't know what we would do without you. I know it's a little vague who I'm talking to, but it's both of you. Love you guys!

Running late...kinda

I only have 9 minutes before I have to leave to take the kids to the doctor for their checkup. Anyway, thought I would post some pictures since they're more fun to look at than reading right?!?!?

We had a pool party on Monday at our friend's house and these are some of the pictures of the kids. Yes, he wanted his hair like that and almost threw a fit until I let him have his little pig tails. Silly boy! Enjoy!

The other pictures.

These are the ones I wanted to post yesterday. My neighbor Sheila, got a new camera and was taking random pictures of Brooklyn and I, so I thought I would share. These are my most favorite ones out of the ones that she took!

I realized today that the reason I couldn't post them last night was because they needed to be resized...DUH! Anyway, I'm a little envious of how the pictures came out with her camera...it makes me want a better one!!! I still love mine though, it's a good little camera.

random pictures

Just thought today needed some adorable pictures...so here are some!

I was going to post more, but seems that my internet isn't working correctly and I can't get anymore photos to post. I'll post more tomorrow! Night! Oh, yes, the kids are in the dog's cage, but they love playing in it together (dog included)!

Getting old.

In the last few months, I've come to realize that my body does not recooperate like it used to. I make the weirdest of movements and I pay for it for about 3 days whereas I would be over it by that night. Anyway, last year when I was working out almost every day, I found that while my body felt good to be exercised, I was having to take a 500mg Tylenol every night just to be able to fall asleep. The nights when I didn't take it, I found myself tossing and turning for about an hour trying to find a position that was comfortable for all my aching body parts. So, I haven't been working out and haven't been having to take a Tylenol. I don't know which I like better, not having to medicate or working out and being hurt. It's not a very fair trade off in my opinion.

December of this year, Shane will be 30 and he's been worrying about his receding hair line. When we first got married, he was buying the Rogaine hair regrowth stuff and using it religiously. Well, after Christian was born and he left for his deployment, he didn't have access to it as easily and quit using it. Since then, he's been slowly losing more hair. I, of course, can't tell, but he can and it's been bothering him.

To top it all off, one of the Chiefs that he works with came over this weekend and was teasing him about his hair and how he should just shave it all off. So, last night...that's exactly what he did. He grabbed his #1 and shaved it all off to one length. I have to say, he still looks good to me, even with his little bitty hairs on his head. He's got a nice shaped dome, I approve!

Our new mailbox! I know...a mailbox, but it's exciting. In the first picture, you can see where our first one was...back on the house and barely fit anything into it. Yep, the little black dot on the right. If you wanted to mail a letter, you had to put it underneath in the little hangy things, and hope that the wind didn't blow it out if there was a storm. It's going to be better, I'm excited. Oh, and not all the houses are getting mailboxes either, just specific ones. Apparently, ours is one of them, although, I'm not sure how they're deciding which ones get them and which ones don't.

Also, some pictures of the kids digging in the dirt, and Rookie too.
