Getting old.

In the last few months, I've come to realize that my body does not recooperate like it used to. I make the weirdest of movements and I pay for it for about 3 days whereas I would be over it by that night. Anyway, last year when I was working out almost every day, I found that while my body felt good to be exercised, I was having to take a 500mg Tylenol every night just to be able to fall asleep. The nights when I didn't take it, I found myself tossing and turning for about an hour trying to find a position that was comfortable for all my aching body parts. So, I haven't been working out and haven't been having to take a Tylenol. I don't know which I like better, not having to medicate or working out and being hurt. It's not a very fair trade off in my opinion.

December of this year, Shane will be 30 and he's been worrying about his receding hair line. When we first got married, he was buying the Rogaine hair regrowth stuff and using it religiously. Well, after Christian was born and he left for his deployment, he didn't have access to it as easily and quit using it. Since then, he's been slowly losing more hair. I, of course, can't tell, but he can and it's been bothering him.

To top it all off, one of the Chiefs that he works with came over this weekend and was teasing him about his hair and how he should just shave it all off. So, last night...that's exactly what he did. He grabbed his #1 and shaved it all off to one length. I have to say, he still looks good to me, even with his little bitty hairs on his head. He's got a nice shaped dome, I approve!

Our new mailbox! I know...a mailbox, but it's exciting. In the first picture, you can see where our first one was...back on the house and barely fit anything into it. Yep, the little black dot on the right. If you wanted to mail a letter, you had to put it underneath in the little hangy things, and hope that the wind didn't blow it out if there was a storm. It's going to be better, I'm excited. Oh, and not all the houses are getting mailboxes either, just specific ones. Apparently, ours is one of them, although, I'm not sure how they're deciding which ones get them and which ones don't.

Also, some pictures of the kids digging in the dirt, and Rookie too.

Yeah it figures. Why is it that things have become so impersonal. We Moms (Grandma's) have to find everything out second hand and NOT by phone but by "Blogs".

Maybe I'll start my own blog.

As for you young lady, you're so in trouble. Get on the phone now and call your Mother. OOooooo you are so in trouble.
(grumbling to myself) finding out that my Grandson had his first sleep over at the neighbors NOT from the Momma but by a stupid blog and quite by accident too.

He he ha ha...I love you baby girls!
